Extra Time
- When a staff member works time that is beyond their scheduled time (i.e. started early, worked through lunch, or stayed late) they must make an entry in the Extra Time Log so the payroll manager knows that extra time punched is actual work and not a forgotten punch.
- Punches that are outside of the scheduled time and do not have a corresponding Extra Time Log entry are corrected to the schedule time. For this reason, it is very important that Extra Time is entered in the Extra Time Log and not as a comment in the Shift Clock.
